Webcam Antibes Port Vauban Time Travel

The sandy beaches of Antibes are completely manmade. The earthTV camera captures the foothills of the Alp plunging into the Mediterranean in the far distance, the famous harbour and the old fortress Chateau Grimaldi.

Port Vauban connects Antibes with a long maritime history on the French Riviera. Fort Carré adds a prominent defensive landmark near the harbour, while the Picasso Museum occupies Château Grimaldi in the old town. Together they link the port’s waterside setting with fortification, historic streets and twentieth-century art.
